Limestone, granite and marble are all used as the exterior material for many of buildings in the Chicagoland area. In much the same way that stone is hung from a building's structure, terra cotta is also used as a primary exterior material cladding for a building. Unlike masonry-clad structures, buildings with stone and terra cotta fa�ade are often capable of having the original fa�ade materials restored.
