DIS was pleased to be awarded the 850 Lake Shore Drive restoration project which saw this vintage building transition from a Northwestern University structure to new luxury apartments. Repairs included: major shelf angle and steel restoration, window opening modifications, limestone, terra cotta, and masonry repair/replacement. Parapet and balustrades were also rebuilt. All work was completed with the intent of maintaining the historical integrity of this important Chicago structure.
