This project required total removal and rebuilding of the masonry facades on both the east and north elevations as well as other specified work on the other elevations. Located in the shadow of the John Hancock building, this 15 story landmark has outlived many residential structures of itsí age. In addition to the replacement of outer brick, the project involved total reconstruction of the parapet walls, replacement of structural steel shelf angles, replacement of limestone copings, and repair and replacement of deteriorated decorative precast concrete elements. Final touch-up work included recaulking of the windows and painting of precast concrete.
